Pineapple Lime Electrolyte Water

A refreshing homemade electrolyte drink made with pineapple, lime, sea salt, and water.

Ingredients

  • 2 quarts cold water
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 3/4 to 1 cup pineapple, processed
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave nectar (optional)

Directions

  1. Process the pineapple until smooth.
  2. Add the pineapple, lime juice, sea salt, and honey or agave nectar to a pitcher.
  3. Add the water and stir or shake well.
  4. Refrigerate until chilled.
  5. Shake before serving.

Variations

Watermelon Electrolyte Water

Substitute the pineapple with 1 cup of fresh watermelon.

Cucumber Lime Electrolyte Water

Add sliced cucumber and allow it to steep in the refrigerator for several hours before serving.

Pineapple Watermelon Electrolyte Water

Combine 1/2 cup pineapple and 1/2 cup watermelon for a sweeter fruit-forward flavor.

Storage

Store refrigerated for up to 3 days. Shake before serving, as the fruit may naturally settle.
