Pineapple Lime Electrolyte Water

A refreshing homemade electrolyte drink made with pineapple, lime, sea salt, and water.
Ingredients
- 2 quarts cold water
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- Juice of 2 limes
- 3/4 to 1 cup pineapple, processed
- 1 tablespoon honey or agave nectar (optional)
Directions
- Process the pineapple until smooth.
- Add the pineapple, lime juice, sea salt, and honey or agave nectar to a pitcher.
- Add the water and stir or shake well.
- Refrigerate until chilled.
- Shake before serving.
Variations
Watermelon Electrolyte Water
Substitute the pineapple with 1 cup of fresh watermelon.
Cucumber Lime Electrolyte Water
Add sliced cucumber and allow it to steep in the refrigerator for several hours before serving.
Pineapple Watermelon Electrolyte Water
Combine 1/2 cup pineapple and 1/2 cup watermelon for a sweeter fruit-forward flavor.
Storage
Store refrigerated for up to 3 days. Shake before serving, as the fruit may naturally settle.
